Goldman Sachs reports sharp fall in profits

US banking giant Goldman Sachs has today announced profits dived 82% in the second quarter to $453 million.

M&S sales beat forecasts but issues caution

British retailing giant, Marks and Spencer (M&S), today posted better-than-expected same store sales of 5.1% in the UK in the 13 weeks to March 27 (its fiscal fourth quarter).
