One year ago, we bought our house. We finished the second building (office, guest house, etc) and are living in that while we re-do the main house. Today we installed our woodstove in the main house. First steps were building the hearth from slate we found in the yard, and constructing an air tight metal face also from found aluminum sheeting. The stove is the same model we had in our other house. We loved it so much, the moment we saw it on craigslist, we grabbed it.

for the video geeks- this was made on a Panasonic GH-1 with a 20mm pancake lens. i am still learning how to use it and i didn’t have my external mic on, so you hear the auto focus a bunch. next time it won’t happen, i swear.
